Landing Preview and Block Control

Block Shadow Puzzle follows the familiar falling-block formula: pieces descend into a rectangular field, and you move them left or right, rotate them to fit gaps, and drop them faster when needed. The shadow effect is the defining feature here. It projects where the current block will land based on its horizontal position, so you can judge whether a placement will leave a gap or complete a row before committing. That preview changes how you play. Instead of guessing at the last second, you can line up blocks with more confidence, especially once the descent speed increases.

Clearing Lines and Managing Speed

Each completed horizontal row disappears and awards points. The field stays manageable as long as you keep rows clear, but the falling speed gradually rises, shrinking the window for decisions. The game ends when stacked blocks reach the top of the play area. Because the shadow preview removes some of the guesswork, the challenge shifts toward reading the board quickly and deciding where each block fits before the next one appears. Players who create flat surfaces and avoid deep wells tend to last longer.

Browser Access and Session Length

Built with HTML5, the game runs directly in a web browser without downloads or installation. That makes it easy to start a quick session, and the arcade-style scoring encourages replaying to beat a previous result. Some versions include a leaderboard for comparing scores with other players. The controls rely on keyboard input for movement, rotation, and dropping, so a desktop or laptop setup is the most natural way to play.
