Guarding the Royal Chair

The player controls a small spiny animal stationed beside a royal chair. Creatures approach along fixed paths, and the only goal is to keep every one of them from reaching the seat. Each intruder can be halted by a single defensive action, which also awards points. The challenge comes from tracking several routes at once and responding before an intruder closes the distance. There is no complex setup or story to learn first; the chair is the objective, and the creatures are the threat.

One Input, Many Decisions

Controls are intentionally minimal. A tap, click, or key press triggers the defensive move, and that same input works for every approaching creature. The difficulty is not in the input itself but in choosing which target to address first when two or more are closing in. Because the action temporarily stops a creature rather than removing it permanently, the player has to keep scanning the screen and re-evaluating priorities. The interface stays uncluttered, so nothing competes with the approaching threats for attention.

How the Pace Builds

Rounds begin at a manageable speed and gradually accelerate. New intruders may move faster than earlier ones or enter from angles the player has not been watching. This escalation is the main source of progression; there are no unlock trees or upgrade menus described. Improvement comes from the player's own timing and awareness, which means the same simple mechanic supports both a first attempt and a high-score run. Each session is brief, usually a few minutes, which suits short breaks and repeated tries.

Friendly Visuals, Clear Threats

The art uses bright colors and simple shapes. Animal characters have rounded bodies and expressive faces, giving the game a lighthearted tone rather than a tense one. Backgrounds are clean and uncomplicated, which matters because the player must spot approaching creatures quickly. Visual clarity is part of the design, not just decoration: if a creature blends into the background, the timing challenge becomes unfair. The friendly style also makes the game approachable for younger players without changing the underlying demand for quick reactions.
