Elemental Showdown: Turn-Based Strategy Online Game - Strategy Game

Elemental Showdown is a dynamic turn-based strategy game set in an arena. You control one elemental magician and aim to push the opponent out of the arena or deplete their health. Each round increases your power, allowing stronger spells, but your opponent also grows stronger. This alpha version was created for a capstone project from Michigan State University's Game Design and Development specialization on Coursera. It is still in development and may be completed for 2017. The alpha is uploaded for playtesting feedback and lacks features like online PvP and 1P campaign. Active development continues, and all feedback is welcome.

To play, click on spell cards to select a spell. Use number keys 1 through 6 to cast spells. Press 0 for extra energy. Press the space bar to end your turn. Press H to hide or show spells. Use arrow keys and M to move. Select direction with arrow keys, cancel direction with Esc, and access the menu with Esc. Plan your moves wisely to manage energy and cast spells effectively.
